The best way to make maple syrup is to collect sap in a 500 gallon container and keep snow on it until you're ready to cook it down.

sap is running strong now. my mom said she'd collect it while i'm in Sedona. she is so nice.

Second batch of hard cider is still fermenting and looks good. Out to prune some apple trees.
